“I think renovating the interior and refurbishing the exterior to its original glory days would be ideal. This space is absolutely beautiful! I'm originally from Detroit, but moved to Chicago after college in recent years. All major U.S. cities need to have their landmark train station. Here in Chicago we have the beautiful Union Station. In New York, there's Grand Central Station which was built by the same architects that constructed MCS. I think using the space for upscale apartments would be nice as long as the opportunity for tenants would present itself. Also using this space as a Trade Processing Center due to close proximity to the Ambassador Bridge would be a good idea as well. Finally, using it for its original intent and purpose would be the grandest idea of them all. We have to find something amazing to use this space for. =)
P.S. I think giving tours to the general public is also a great idea in the mean time. I would love to see the bones of this structure.
