“I grew up in Traverse City and can't help but see a project like The Village at Grand Traverse Commons take shape in MCS. Restaurants, shops, corporate condos, residential space, it would be incredible. And considering the need for new loft living in the downtown area, this would provide a new hub of activity for the city. Seriously, if we could bring Ray Minervini (the developer of the previously-mentioned Village project) down here I think incredible things would happen.”

Carl Gladstone: Just spent a month working out of the Higher Grounds coffee shop and roaster building at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Everyday I walked around thinking that this would be a great project for some large building(s) in Detroit. Might give impetus for the MCS to become a transit hub if there are shops, offices, and living spaces that people are utilizing. Nice!
Mark Hoffman: I agree - Ray Minervini from TC would be a great consultant for this project. Great guy with incredible vision and a track-record of making things happen!
